1. These Terms
These Terms apply to the Dog Owner Pro and Cat Owner Pro websites (dogownerpro.com, catownerpro.com) and mobile apps (together, “Owner Pro”), operated by Dog Breeder Pro B.V. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), registered in the Netherlands. By using Owner Pro you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy at https://dogownerpro.com/en/privacy/ is part of these Terms.

3. What Owner Pro Is
A free directory and app for finding dog and cat breeders, viewing their kennel or cattery websites and the animals they choose to show, contacting them, applying for a puppy or kitten, and following your application. Breeders publish their listings and websites from our breeder software, Dog Breeder Pro and Cat Breeder Pro.
Owner Pro is free. There are no subscriptions, purchases or fees for owners.
4. Age and Accounts
Anyone can browse. You must be 18 or older to create an account or contact a breeder, whether through a listing or through a form on a breeder’s website.
You need an account to apply through a listing in Owner Pro and follow your application. You don’t need one to browse, or to use a form on a breeder’s own website. Sign up with email and password, or with Apple or Google, whose terms then also apply.
Give accurate information and keep it current; breeders rely on it. Keep your password confidential, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. Accounts are personal: one per person, not shared.
You can delete your account at any time from settings or by email. Applications you have sent remain with the breeders who received them.
5. Breeders and Listings
Listings are the breeder’s, not ours. Everything in a listing or on a kennel or cattery website is provided by the breeder and has not been checked by us. We do not verify breeders, their registrations, health testing or practices. A listing is not a recommendation or endorsement.
We are not a party to your dealings with a breeder. Any enquiry, application, reservation, deposit, sale, contract or dispute is between you and the breeder. We don’t take payments for it and are not responsible for what either side does.
Reporting a listing. If a listing seems inaccurate, misleading or involves mistreatment of animals, tell us at support@dogownerpro.com. We may remove listings that breach our breeder terms, but we are not obliged to investigate every report.
6. Enquiries and Applications
When you submit a form, we deliver it to the breeder and store a copy in their account. The breeder decides whether and how to respond; we don’t guarantee a reply. You confirm that what you submit is accurate and that you may share any information in it about other people, such as your household.
Application status. For applications made through a listing in Owner Pro, we show you the status the breeder has recorded. The breeder sets it; we don’t check or guarantee it. An “approved” status, a place on a waiting list, or any other status is not a contract with the breeder or with us. Forms sent through a breeder’s own website show no status.
7. Acceptable Use
Don’t:
- Submit false or misleading information, or impersonate anyone
- Harass, threaten or abuse breeders or anyone else
- Send spam, advertising or unsolicited offers
- Scrape or collect listings or contact details by automated means
- Use breeders’ contact details for anything other than a genuine enquiry about their animals
- Interfere with the service or attempt unauthorised access
- Use Owner Pro for anything illegal or that harms animals
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules, with notice where we can.
8. Content and Intellectual Property
Listings, photos, pedigrees and website content belong to the breeders who published them. You may view them to find and contact a breeder, not copy or republish them. Owner Pro itself, including its software, design and trademarks “Dog Owner Pro” and “Cat Owner Pro”, belongs to Dog Breeder Pro B.V. We grant you a limited, revocable licence to use it for its intended purpose.
9. Mobile Apps
The apps are subject to the Apple App Store and Google Play terms as well as these. Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms and are not responsible for the apps; contact us, not the store, for support. The app may ask to send notifications, which you control in device settings. Some updates may be required to keep using it.
10. Availability
We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of Owner Pro at any time and can’t guarantee uninterrupted access.
11. Disclaimers and Liability
Owner Pro is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including as to the accuracy of listings or the suitability of any breeder. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of Owner Pro, any listing or website, or your dealings with a breeder, including any deposit, animal or contract. As Owner Pro is free, our total liability to you is limited to €100. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or wilful misconduct, or your statutory consumer rights.
12. Changes to These Terms
The current version is always at https://dogownerpro.com/en/terms/ with its effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
13. Disputes and Governing Law
Email support@dogownerpro.com first and we’ll try to sort it out. These Terms are governed by Dutch law. EU consumers may bring a claim at home or in the Netherlands; UK consumers where they live; business users in the courts of Utrecht. EU consumers can also use the Online Dispute Resolution platform at http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/.
14. General
If any part of these Terms is invalid, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right doesn’t waive it. The English version prevails over any translation. We may assign these Terms in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
